4th of July..

We had a busy day.. but it was fun. We started off at a local karaoke contest. A friend was entered so we went to support her. It was really hot outside so we had my mom come get Chase about 20 minutes in. After the contest we headed out to Mike's aunts house for a 4th of July BBQ and party for his little brother who turned 15. Chase was the center of attention. I only got him for diaper changes it seemed. He was a wonderful baby and took to being passed around great!

After dinner we decided it was pool time. This pool was a little warmer than my moms and he loved it. We only kept him out there 10-15 minutes but as he gets older I am sure he will be one of those kids you can't get out of the pool.

After swimming we hung out a bit but I could tell a melt down was coming. Sure enough as soon as we got home the screaming started and lasted 2.5 hours. Oh the joys of a colicky baby. Between his screams and the dog freaking out from fireworks it was a long night.. lol. Thats ok though.. the day was great!!
